I can't believe the book comes out tomorrow. Thirty years from seed to book? Was it worth it? Absolutely! Can't wait to see where God will take it... #expectant
Okay. Since I'm up, and you're here, let me tell you what all is going on.

There's awesome buzz going on about this book. But at the end of the day, this is still an uphill battle. Will you take a minute to pray for the novel and for the future of Christian fiction? Please pray that diversity in Christian fiction will take root. A Season to Dance has great things going for it (cover, LPC team, story behind the story, awesome publicist and launch team), but it's by a foreign-born author, one of the main characters is German, and it's a ballet story that travels beyond U.S. shores. All things that traditionally don't do well in Christian fiction. Only God can make it work... And then if it does work, maybe publishers will be less skittish about diversity... If it doesn't... I don't know. We stay where we are, I guess. It's not a bad place. It's just not a very diverse place.
