Hi!
I'm a couple of days late with the spring newsletter, but I'm here :)
How are you?!
We've been busy with good things and not so good things. My little girl broke her arm at school. Swings are evil. I will leave it at that... :/
I'm working for the Army again -- gotta fund that writing habit ;)
All jokes aside, I love doing it. Army public affairs is one of the coolest things that has ever happened in my life, and next year I should be getting my ten-year service pin. It's taking me twenty years to get it with all my baby breaks and hubby-is-deployed breaks, but I'm getting there.
On the writing front, things are hot and heavy too. I received my editorial letter for Desert Willow and am knee-deep in rewrites. It's really coming together, and I'm excited to have this book baby in the making. February 2020, here we come!
My agent is pitching a story idea that I'm really excited about (not Kindred Spirits -- that one is on hold for now). We should know if it's a go or a no-go in late April or early May. Oh, I hope it works!
Have a wonderful season, friends! Have a great spring break, and for those of us with kids, may the school year end well. Let the vacation planning begin :)
Much love,
Patricia
